BP Update

I went to the doc yesterday for my weekly OB visit and an NST. Thankfully Baby passed the NST with flying colors. The previous week they had to use the buzzer (because he fell asleep) so this week I cheated and drank a Sprite on the drive over. He moved and bopped and showed off for 20 minutes.

I also had to submit about five or six vials of blood to be tested to see how things are going (because of the blood pressure). The best part was getting rid of the jug of urine I had to collect for 24 hours to check for protein. I won't get those results until Friday.

I saw the doc and he was okay with where I am right now. If my blood pressure rises above 150/95 for more than a few hours I have to call. He felt that if I can take it easy, keep my stress level down and lay as low as possible I will be fine for another week. If the results of the labs and urine test are not good that could obviously change.

So for now no change to the c-section date and no official bed rest! Onward we go for another week!
