Lucky me... I have developed choleostasis AGAIN. When I was pregnant with the girls I started experiencing itching in my hands and feet. Initially I thought little of it but it gradually got worse and worse. The docs did some blood work and informed me I had choleostasis of pregnancy. Long story short it's an issue in your gall bladder and liver during pregnancy. It is usually no problem for the Mom but can be problematic for baby.
A couple of night ago I started having itching in my feet (just like with the girls). Yesterday it got worse and worse. I called and the nurse said to wait until my appointment on Wednesday but we would discuss in greater detail then.
This could also explain why the nausea is back full force and why I feel like I have run a marathon. I went from feeling pretty darn good to wiped out in a short span of time. The nurse said this could be why. The question is will it push up the c-section???
Guess we'll see...

Boo! I'm so sorry about the choleostasis! No fun at all. I was hoping that as close as you are to delivery it would stay away. :(
(and on a side note, I wonder if I've never had problems with it because I don't have my gallbladder anymore??)
Do you have meds for the nausea? If you ever need ideas for helping to keep it at bay, let me know. I have way more suggestions/tips than anyone should have in their arsenal.
Fingers crossed this doesn't push up the section!
Mandy - You would definitely be my nausea go to person. ;D Thankfully I still have a couple of the generic zofran and plenty of sour lemon drops. They are getting me by for now.
