My Dad

A couple of people have recently asked how my Dad is doing (thanks to those who have asked, prayed, cared!). He is doing awesome! He is done chemo and still kicking cancers butt. Lymphoma never technically "goes away". I guess you could say it lingers under the surface. Therefore the re-occurence rate is rather high (some estimates are as high as 60%). So we know it could come back. In the meantime he is doing awesome. He goes every three months for testing and blood work. He will do that for the rest of his life. The highest rates of re-occurence happen in the first 1-2 years so they are especially careful during that time.

I am just so happy that he made it through and is doing so great. Take that cancer!
