What the third child means

When we moved from a two child household to a three child household a lot changed. There have been some downs but a lot of ups. Here are some of the most notable changes in our household:

1. You have moved from a man-to-man defense to a zone defense
2. You are outnumbered and they will always know that
3. Your fridge will usually be empty
4. Your dry cleaning will always sit at the cleaners for at least a week after it's ready
5. Your laundry will NEVER be caught up
6. Your house will be a lot messier than it used to be
7. Showering is no longer a daily event
8. I no longer remember what my inner voice sounds like
9. All phone calls are taking while dealing with a child
10. Grocery shopping only happens when we are out of EVERYTHING

But here is the absolute best part (in my humble opinion)... you don't care! Instead of a clean house, a full fridge and put-away laundry I have another human to love. That is a heck of a lot better than clean house!
