Jack at 7 Months

Yup, another one of these posts. :D If you're not into milestones and eating scroll to the pictures!

At 7 months Jack is starting to grow a little. He's still a peanut but my back appreciates that fact. He is moving around in his walker but he is in absolutely no hurry to roll, sit up, crawl, etc. For Jack, the world is very entertaining from the comfort of his swing or walker so why push it! We are starting to push him a little so he doesn't fall too far behind. But who am I to question a laid back personality???

He is eating like a champ. He nurses every three hours or so (still!) and eats three meals a day. Because of his slow growth the doctor has us making his baby food. We can better control ingredients this way. I am thankful since I needed a push to do it. I made all the girls baby food so I should do the same for Jack. Unlike the girls he LOVES veggies and meat and could skip fruit altogether.

Our biggest issue is still sleep (and being sick). The poor dear has had FIVE colds in the past few months. Each cold puts us back at the starting line in terms of sleep. He is still up every 2.5 to 3 hours all night. We haven't gone more than 4 hours in over a month. I am missing those days of 8 hours like you wouldn't believe.

Aside from the lack of sleep Jack is a complete Rock Star. The kid is so passive and laid back. He laughs at everything and smiles at everyone. He is such a joy!
