Cardio and Allergist

Check and check. Both went very well. Unfortunately because Abby had an exposure last week that ended in a reaction the allergist said we're at least another year from a testing and a possible food challenge. It's frustrating because as each year passes the chance of her outgrowing it goes down. Thankfully she really handles it well. The allergist was pleased with both girls breathing tests and allergies. So no change on that front.

The cardiologist today went well also. They did some testing and found just a benign heart murmur. I really didn't think it was going to be anything serious but hearing "have a nice life" from a specialist is a wonderful thing!

 Abs was downright amazed that the heart isn't shaped like a perfect heart. She did find the similarity though. I also love that she loves things like the anatomy of the heart!

She didn't stop being silly for even a second of her appointment. She feels the need to crack up every doctor she meets.

 Jack was kind enough to keep his sister company at both appointments. Thank goodness he's so laid back!

So not too bad. I wasn't sure how this week of visits was going to go but we did really, really well. SO much better than when the girls were little. It seemed like back then every visit we took led to two more visits and three tests. :D
