Last week the girls celebrated their 100th day of kindergarten. I absolutely love that they turn this into a complete celebration. As my mother always says there are not enough reasons to celebrate in life.
A big part of the celebration is an assignment to count out and bring 100 of *something* into school.
My "sweets deprived" children chose gummy bears and jelly beans. :D
So we sat down and counted and counted.
And counted some more.
We didn't sneak a single piece of candy.
I swear.
When the morning came there was an odd amount of excitement. I got a little caught up and made "100" sandwiches and "100" toast for breakfast. It was a lot of fun for all.
