Yesterday I took Jack to the pediatrician for his 9 month check up. I was a little disappointed that it quickly turned from a well visit (where you can talk about development, sleep, etc.) to a sick visit. The cold is still plaguing him. He has an upper respiratory infection and bronchialitis. He hasn't eaten much of anything since Saturday (thankfully he's nursing just fine). They can't give him antibiotics or anything else so we are using Tylenol and Zarbee's Infant Cough. We've been sleeping in 1-2 hour jags so we are both ready to be over this.
He weighed 18 lbs 3 oz (15th percentile) and was 27.5" (22nd percentile). The doc wasn't thrilled that he isn't crawling or pulling to stand but we had this same conversation about sitting and rolling. He's just in no big hurry. :D
He now has TWO teeth in the front. Once the second one came through the nursing went back to being easy. Thank goodness!
The kid continues to be an absolute ham. Despite feeling crappy he still has an amazing sense of humor for a little guy.
My little lounge lizard. The docs are so concerned with him being so "slow". I guess they just don't get Jack!
Photo bomb!
