The second round of Valentine's Card are now complete. Getting Abby to complete a crafting project usually takes some doing so it was a little slower going. Hers were a little less complex than Grace's but they turned out very cute.
We opted for plain card stock that we cute in half and folded.
We used markers, stickers and a great set of alphabet stamps from the craft store. (We found them on clearance in the scrapbooking section for $10)
I think when it was all said and done the girls were really proud to have something homemade. We talked a lot about making things yourself versus just buying them in the store. I have absolutely nothing against store bought... I just thought it helped hit home the lesson of how great it can be to make things with your own two hands.
